About Our Services in Arlington Heights
Arlington Heights is directly east of our Palatine shop, which makes it one of the shortest drives on our board and one of the easiest places for us to fit in a quick gutter check or a second visit.
Two very different kinds of property sit inside 60004 and 60005. North of Palatine Road you have established postwar neighborhoods like Scarsdale, Stonegate and Terramere, mostly ranches and split levels from the 1950s through the 1970s with mature parkway trees over the rooflines. Those homes are gutter maintenance customers first: the trees that make the streets look good are the same trees that pack the downspouts every fall.
Closer to downtown and the Metra station, the teardown two stories built in the last twenty years bring a different problem. They have more glass, more of it above the first floor, and often narrow side yards where a ladder cannot be footed safely. We use water fed poles for that upper glass and rope access when a building or a tight lot rules out ladders entirely.
Alongside window and gutter work we handle roof soft washing for the black streaking that shows up on north facing asphalt shingles, power washing for driveways and paver patios, and dryer vent cleaning.

Arlington Heights Exterior Cleaning FAQs
Do you cover both Arlington Heights zip codes?
Yes, 60004 and 60005, from the Rand Road corridor down through downtown and the neighborhoods around Frontier Park and the former Arlington Park site.
My Arlington Heights lot is narrow. Can you still reach the upper windows?
Yes. On tight side yards where a ladder cannot be footed safely we clean upper glass with a water fed pole from the ground, and for buildings or truly inaccessible elevations we use rope access.
How often do Arlington Heights homes need gutter cleaning?
Twice a year is right for most of the older neighborhoods with mature parkway trees over the roof. Newer subdivisions with smaller trees can often stretch to once a year in late fall.
What causes the dark streaks on my roof?
Almost always gloeocapsa magma, an algae that feeds on limestone filler in asphalt shingles and shows up worst on north facing slopes. It comes off with a low pressure soft wash and a cleaning solution. Pressure washing a shingle roof strips the granules and shortens its life, so we do not do it.
